CLOVE...The Super Oil!

The clove is an evergreen tree, called Eugenia arena, reaching a height of 15 to 30 feet tall. It is native to the Spice Islands and the Philippines but also grown in India, Sumatra, Jamaica, the West Indies, Brazil, and other tropical areas. The most familiar part of the tree is it's dried flower buds which is used in kitchens around the world.

Medical science is most familiar with Clove Oil. The oil is steam expressed from the dried flower buds and has been used for holistic healing for millions of years. Chinese physicians have long used the herb to treat indigestion, diarrhea, hernia, and ringworm, as well as athlete's foot and other fungal infections and as a stimulant for the nerves. In Europe, doctors used clove to suppress cough, cure infertility, warts, worms, wounds, and toothaches. European hospitals use clove to treat viral hepatitis, bacterial colitis, hypertension, thyroid dysfunction, and fatigue, to this day. Throughout time, science has found that Clove Oil is the strongest Antioxidant on earth! It is also an anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, a mind stimulant for the cure of depression, and stimulate circulation to the skin.

In the U.S., Clove Oil is mostly found in muscular pain relievers, gum and tooth pain medication and as an antiseptic in mouth wash.
